Jeremiah 29:11:“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the LORD, “thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give youa future and a hope.”
Three things we see about God’s thoughts from this verse:1. They are of peace – not anxiety, chaos, or fear.
2. They are not evil – not punishment, destruction, orshame.
3. They give a future and a hope – they speak of destiny, restoration, and joyful expectation.God’s thoughts carry the power to lift us out of fear and place us into faith.
They are the antidote to despair. They silence the lies of the enemy and realign us with the voice of truth.
