Strengthened With Might: Living From God's Divine Supply
Discovering the Unlimited Strength of the Holy Spirit
Ephesians 3:14–20
"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man." — Ephesians 3:14–16 (NKJV)
One of the Greatest Needs in the Church Today
One of the greatest needs in the Church today is not more information—it is greater spiritual strength. God never intended believers to live weary, discouraged, or merely surviving the pressures of life. His desire is that every believer would live from His divine supply rather than from human strength.
Throughout Scripture, we discover that the Father has established an inexhaustible supply through the Holy Spirit. This is not reserved for a select few; it is the inheritance of every believer in Jesus Christ. Through the indwelling Holy Spirit, God continually strengthens us from within so we can fulfill His purpose with confidence, endurance, and supernatural power.
This is one of the central themes of my ministry: the Word and the Spirit working together to produce mature, strong, victorious believers. As God's Word renews our minds and the Holy Spirit empowers our inner being, we are equipped to advance His Kingdom in every area of life.
Paul's Prayer for Every Believer
Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, prayed one of the most powerful prayers recorded in Scripture. This was not merely a prayer for the believers in Ephesus—it is an eternal prayer that still carries the power to impart faith and activate truth in every generation.
Notice where Paul's attention is focused. He does not begin by praying that circumstances change or that opposition disappear. Instead, he prays that believers would receive supernatural inner strength.
His prayer is directed to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, reminding us that this promise belongs to every member of God's family. The Father desires to strengthen His children from the inside out.
Paul reveals that this strengthening comes through the Holy Spirit in the inner man. Before God changes what is around us, He often strengthens what is within us. When our inner life is established in Him, we are prepared to overcome every outward challenge.
Strength According to the Riches of His Glory
Paul makes an astonishing statement.
We are strengthened according to the riches of His glory.
Those words deserve careful attention.
When someone gives a gift, the value of that gift is determined by the resources backing it. Imagine someone handing you access to their personal checking account. The usefulness of that gift would only last as long as the account remained funded. Once the account reached zero, the gift would end.
God's gift is completely different.
The strength He supplies is backed by the limitless riches of His glory. His resources never diminish. Heaven never experiences shortage. God's power never weakens. His glory never fades.
That means the strength available to every believer is not measured by human ability but by God's infinite abundance.
God's Supply Never Runs Dry
Imagine standing on the shore of the ocean holding a five-gallon bucket.
You lower the bucket into the water and lift it out. The bucket is completely full, yet it has not diminished the ocean in the slightest.
God's divine supply works the same way.
Every believer may draw from His strength, wisdom, peace, joy, faith, and power, yet His resources remain completely untouched. Millions of believers throughout history have drawn from His supply, and His abundance has never been reduced.
The Father never worries about running out of strength for His children.
His supply is endless.
His grace is abundant.
His power is inexhaustible.
The whole ocean of His glory remains available to those who continually draw near to Him.
Living From God's Divine Supply
We are living in a significant hour. God is preparing His people to advance into greater assignments, greater influence, and greater opportunities to reveal Christ to the world.
We cannot accomplish tomorrow's assignments with yesterday's strength.
We must remain fresh in the anointing.
As we continually yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit, He renews our inner man. He refreshes our faith, restores our joy, sharpens our discernment, and strengthens our confidence.
Fresh strength produces fresh vision.
Fresh vision produces fresh faith.
Fresh faith produces forward movement into God's purposes.
Strength for Every Season
Every new season of destiny will present new opportunities, but it may also bring new challenges.
There will be obstacles.
There will be resistance.
There will be moments when the enemy attempts to intimidate, discourage, or delay what God has spoken.
Yet Paul reminds us that our confidence is never found in ourselves.
The Holy Spirit strengthens us to rise above fear, overcome limitation, persevere through difficulty, and accomplish the will of God with courage and confidence.
The fresh oil of the Holy Spirit empowers us to believe beyond what seems possible. What appears impossible through human ability becomes possible through God's power working within us.

More Than We Could Ever Imagine
Paul concludes this remarkable passage with one of the greatest promises in Scripture.
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." — Ephesians 3:20
Notice where that power is working.
Not merely around us.
Not merely for us.
Within us.
The Holy Spirit is continually strengthening the believer from the inside so that God's purposes can be fulfilled through our lives.
